The first annual Miss Kildare’s Contest is all about finding the national face of Kildare’s for the coming year. The winner will be showing up in promotional materials, posters and billboards, and will even win a trip to Cancun.
The first round of competition kicked off on Thursday, May 10. Entrants participated in an individual photo shoot in front of a live audience at Kildare’s, followed by a round of trivia hosted by Tom Boyd a.k.a. Boyder. The trivia included Kildare’s, West Chester, all things Irish and a variety of extremely stupid and awkward questions. Participants will find out at the start of round two if they’re moving on to the next round, which begins on Thursday, May 17, for the kilt competition and the talent portion.
