The Arc of Chester County’s Arc Achievement Walk & Fun Day is Sunday, June 10, 2012 at West Goshen Community Park, 11:00 am-2:00 pm.
Complete a one-mile (one lap) or more on West Goshen Community Park’s walking trail to benefit The Arc of Chester County. By collecting pledges, every participant helps support services for people with disabilities and their families. Proceeds will help The Arc offer children and adults with disabilities the services they need to live as independently as possible. This is a fun walk, so strollers, wheelchairs, bikes, wagons and friendly pets are all welcome.
The walk is followed by a catered picnic buffet lunch and The Arc’s 60th anniversary celebration! There will also be arts and crafts, moon bounces, face-painting, clowns, bingo, a live beach band, Sprout film screenings – short films made by and for individuals with disabilities – and much more.
Visit The Arc’s website at for more information and to register. The Arc of Chester County’s mission is to advocate, educate and provide services to empower individuals with disabilities and their families to enhance the quality of their lives.
