The WC Bartenders Ball is the West Chester service industry’s annual giveback night. Through a variety of partnerships within the industry, including promotion by Dub C Bar Stool, the event has raised more than $30,000 in the past two years for local charities like the Police Athletic League and the First West Chester Fire Department. This year’s beneficiaries will include the West Chester Food Cupboard and the Chester County Hero Fund for the late Captain Chris Good of the First West Chester Fire Department, among others.
The event will be held on Sunday, January 27 from 7pm-12am at the Chester County Historical Society. Attendees–primarily the bartenders, servers and managers of West Chester bars and restaurants–will be treated to a five-hour open bar and food service, as well as live music by some of the area’s premier entertainers, like Lost in Paris and The Sermon. Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.wcbartendersball.com for $50, or at the door on the night of the event for $60. In addition, on the night of the event there will be an award ceremony for the service industry’s best. You can vote for your favorites at on the event website.
