Coming this Friday May 1st, West Chester will be hosting the annual “First Friday” gallery walk downtown. The event will be held from 5-9pm and represents the Chamber of Commerce’s 25th Anniversary celebration of West Chester’s community of galleries and artists. The Gallery Walk is a perfect way to spend your Friday evening shopping, dining and walking through the lovely town of West Chester.
Enjoy an evening downtown filled with a wide variety of over 20 artists displaying their best work inside (and outside) local galleries, shops, banks and restaurants. Artists range from local to international, traditional to contemporary. The gallery will include watercolor, acrylic, sculpture, photography, jewelry, ceramics and textiles, ensuring a wide selection of artwork to choose from.
In addition to the exciting exhibits that will be displayed, retailers of downtown West Chester will be offering in-store specials for this event.
Worried about parking in West Chester? Take advantage of free meter parking downtown after 5pm or a two-hour compensation ticket with any purchase from a vendor in the Vintage Market located in the Chestnut Street parking garage. The vintage market is located on the lower level of the parking garage.
