QVC is hosting the West Chester Heart Walk sponsored by the American Heart Association. The Heart Walk is a 5k (3.1 miles long) trail with an optional extra mile for heart disease survivors.
This family-friendly event is packed with entertainment, food, a kids’ zone, pet zone and vendor booths. There will also be CPR training and free health screenings.
The Heart Walk will take place on Saturday, October 10th 2015 at West Goshen Community Park. The park will open for participants at 8am with an opening ceremony at 9am and the walk beginning right after.

The Heart Association is encouraging participants to nominate a friend, family member or co-worker for the 2015 “Lifestyle Change Award”. The award recognizes individuals who have made healthy lifestyles changes to improve their overall quality of life. The online nomination form can be downloaded here. Online or emailed submissions to philadelphiaheartwalk@heart.org (Subject: QVC – West Chester Lifestyle Change Award) must be completed by September 30th.
