On October 23-25th Chester County’s premier ballet will be showcasing their Fall performances. The ballet series will showcase a collaboration of Carmina Burana, a story based on medieval poems depicting fortune and fate, and a performance from Swan Lake, Act II.
The ballet features a young maiden, Odette who is cursed with an evil spell by von Rothbart. The spell cast on the young maiden turns her into a swan by day and a maiden of Prince Siegfried by night.
Brandywine singers and percussion will accompany the performers creating additional animation and exhilaration to the spectacle.
Following the final performance on October 25th will be a meet and greet with the ballet performers and staff. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres and wine while socializing with the crowd and participating in the “penny auction”.
Performances will be at Asplundh Concert Hall, 700 S. High Street. The meet and greet will take place a few blocks the street at Spence 312, 312 S. High Street from 430 to 730pm, $30 per person. To purchase tickets for the ballet visit here or call 610.696.2711.
