West Chester’s Uptown! Entertainment Alliance is holding the 4th Annual “Footlights and Fun Raising” fundraiser on October 17th. The evening’s theme is red, white and blue with a casual dress code. The fun raising assures for a memorable night enhanced with dancing and patriotic wear.
Live entertainment will be provided by the Sofa Kings, an energetic, 10-piece band playing dance music from various genres. From R&B to billboard hits and classic rock, prepare to dance all night long. In addition to live entertainment the fundraiser will offer guests American food, going along with the theme, drinks and a silent auction.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the continuing efforts to bring a performing arts theater to downtown West Chester. The event is sponsored by Fulton Bank.
The festivities will take place from 630 to 11pm at West Chester University Alumni & Foundation Building. Tickets are $85 for one person, or $80 a person when purchasing more than one.
