On Sunday, November 22nd, 2015 the first ever Gratitude Festival will take place at Mercedes Benz of West Chester. From 1 to 4pm participate in the celebration of the holiday season with a day of thanks, giving and community.
Activities include guided meditation and yoga classes for any level instructed by experts Colleen Devirgiliis, Brianne Murphy and Mike Huggins. There will also be local food vendors, shopping, live music and raffles taking place throughout the event.
“This is a chance to enjoy yoga with your community, even if it’s your first time trying it,” says Mike Huggins, founder and executive director of the Transformation Yoga Project, which is presenting the event. “Donations benefit our yoga and mindfulness services to addiction treatment programs, veterans programs and VA hospitals, and the criminal justice system.”
The festival is being offered to the community at no cost. Donations are gratefully accepted to fund Transformation Yoga Project, a local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing yoga classes for veterans, individuals on recovery and people who are incarcerated throughout Southeastern PA.
Mercedes Benz of West Chester is located at 1260 Wilmington Pike, West Chester, PA. To learn more about Transformation Yoga Project visit here.
