On January 26th 2016, the Chester County Board of Commissioners and the Chester County Economic Development Council (CCEDC) announced the release of a comprehensive business survey titled, “Take the Pulse”. The survey will gather insight regarding local businesses in order to maintain a healthy economy through VISTA 2025, a 10 year development strategy.
“This survey offers Chester County business owners the chance to candidly share the opportunities they’ve faced while doing business here, as well as the challenges,” said Chester County Commissioners’ Chair Terence Farrell.
Consisting of only 20 questions, the survey can be completed in five minutes or less. Through participation local businesses will provide beneficial information regarding opportunities or difficulties they have faced. The CCEDC will then use the information collected to devise a economic plan for the future.
All businesses in Chester County are invited to take the survey by the deadline, February 19, 2016. To take the survey visit www.ccedcpa.com and www.vista2025.com. Emails will be sent to a majority of local businesses encouraging them to complete the online survey.
Preliminary results will be released this spring followed by a formal report in late 2016. For more information about the CCEDC visit their website here.
