On Thursday, March 31st provide your taste buds with a burst of flavor at the 5th Annual Chef’s Best hosted by ACT in Faith of Greater West Chester. The event will be held at Milestone Events from 6-9pm.
Sample specialties from four restaurants then vote on your favorite dish. This year’s restaurants are: 2015 winner Spence 312, Avalon, Side Bar & Restaurant, and VuDu Lounge/High Street Caffé. The four restaurants are competing for the title of, “Chef’s Best”.
The winning dish in 2015 by Spence 312: Crab cake with orange fennel slaw and lemon basil aioli.
Delicious desserts will be provided by Cakes & Candies by Maryellen, Carlino’s, Gemelli and West Chester Diner. There will also be a silent auction with items donated by faith communities, groups, and individuals who support ACT in Faith’s mission.
Proceeds from the event will benefit ACT in Faith. The organization provides eviction and utility shut-off prevention, employment support, supports the Community Cupboard, and the Neighbors Feeding Neighbors frozen meal program, which was established in 2015 to provide both hearty frozen meals to cupboard shoppers, and new volunteer opportunities for both clients and non-clients who want to get involved.
