The West Chester Downtown Foundation kicks-off the beginning of the WC Preservation Awards nomination period at Side Bar Restaurant. On April 11th at 6pm, the free event will feature Chester County award winning author, Bruce E. Mowday. Bruce will talk about the rich history of West Chester, relating to the main cause behind the awards.
The nomination period will run from April 11th to June 10th. The Preservation Awards are awarded to individuals and organizations in recognition of projects that promote a better understanding of the history of West Chester and the need to preserve the physical evidence of that history. The awards ceremony will be held on October 20th at the Chester County Historical Society.
