After six years of work, Uptown! Entertainment Alliance is ready and what better way to kick off their grand opening than a New Years Eve celebration!
Sold out since October, Uptown! hosted a New Year’s Eve Gala to welcome guests into their new theater. Guests of the gala got a taste of everything, from entertainment to live auctions. Throughout the night, there was a variety of entertainment from a selection of Resident Companies. Included in this selection were Latin Violinist Belmairs Lorca, Better than Bacon Improve, the Sara Michael Quartet and more. On top of the great music and entertainment, guests got t explore the three levels of the theater while enjoying food provided by John Serock Catering. Throughout the night, Uptown raised more than $125,000 to benefit the start of operations at the new theater. 
With the start of 2017, Uptown! is looking ahead and packing your nights with amazing entertainment. Coming up this month include Julian Brenman Youth Acting Workshop from Yajaira Paredes Productions and Jazz Cocktail Hour featuring Vocalist Rhenda Fearrington. Coming up in March and April is the Resident Theater Company’s production of Monty Python’s Spamalot. Get your tickets here today before they sell out!
