The WC Press and Jim Beam celebrated West Chester’s bar and restaurant life at this year’s bartender’s ball!
The guests came rolling into Chester County Historical Society and were taken back to the 1920s. It was another sellout event, filling CCHS to capacity. Prohibition was left behind while guests enjoyed a five-hour, premium open bar. On top of the booze was amazing food and desserts catered by local restaurants. From the moment they stepped into the venue, guests were offered of variety of activities to enjoy throughout the night.
Step and Repeat
The first stop was the Step and Repeat station, Guests got to show off their best 1920s outfit for a photographer from The WC Press while standing in front of the Jim Beam backdrop. You can view all pictures taken that night by visiting our Facebook page.
Live bands and a DJ
In the main ballroom was transformed into a beautifully decorated speakeasy. Guests enjoyed their cocktail hour before busting out their best moves where two live bands and a DJ began their sets. Donny Syracuse’s Band, Take it Easze kicked off the night, followed by DJ Triple T. To finish it all off, Behind Deadlines brought down the house.
Dinner, Desserts and Drinks
Food was offered throughout the evening to all of our guests. A gorgeous set up of pasta dishes, salads and more were donated by West Chester restaurants including Limoncello, Rams Head, Landmark, Saloon 151, Vudu, Barnaby’s, Ryan’s Pub and Split Rail. American Pie stopped by with late night pizza to help guests recover from the five-hour open bar. After dinner, guests indulged in a variety of decadent desserts by Cakes and Candies by MaryEllen. Finally, there were three bars set up throughout the ballroom that included wine, beer and top shelf liquor.
Raffles
In the hallway were raffles donated by a variety of sponsors. Included in the raffles were signed jerseys, sportswear, Jim Beam products and gift cards for our winners to enjoy a night out in West Chester. Congratulations to our many winners, we hope you are enjoying all of your prizes!
Blackjack, photos and more
As guests made their way down the hall, they stopped in our Monte Carlo Casino. They were able to cash in their real bills for fake money and gamble the night away. Winners were awarded raffle tickets that could be put towards an awesome array of prizes. Prizes were donated by West Chester Sports and Social, Jim Beam and more! When they’re fake money ran out, guests often headed out for small photo shoots in our complimentary photo booth.
