Built in 1822, Baldwin’s Book Barn was converted from a barn, to a milking house, and later to a home for William 
and Lilla Baldwin that was also their family book shop. In additional years, it was converted into a country museum, and then to the Book Barn we all know and love.
Including roughly 300,000 used and rare books, manuscripts, maps, paintings, antiques, prints and various collectibles, Baldwin’s Book Barn is perfect for the book fanatic and antique enthusiast.
