Tonight at the Chester County Art Association, the Resident Theatre Company is kicking off their first season in style! The Second Annual Classic Broadway Gala will include a fantastic, unforgettable evening of live shows, music, and delicious food.
The Gala will feature a one-night show with Broadway and Philadelphia stars:

- “Addams Family”
- “The Secret Garden”
- “Xanadu”
- “Wicked”
- “2 Broke Girls”
- “The Tonight Show”
- “The View”
- “Cabaret”
- “Next to Normal,”
- “Legacy Falls”
- Regularly performs at numerous theaters throughout the Philadelphia area
- The Co-Founder and Producing Artistic Director of 11th Hour Theatre Company in Philadelphia
- “Rock of Ages”
- “Next to Normal”
- “Sweeney Todd”
- “Next to Normal”
- “A Chorus Line”
- “A Light in the Piazza”
- “Drood”
According to Founding Artistic Director Kristin McLaughlin Mitchell, the Gala will be to”bring amazing talent in West Chester. We’re hoping this event will continue to build our audience and help to raise the funding we need to produce our first full season,” she stated in an interview with “Vista Today.”
A pre-party and red carpet walk will precede the Gala at 6:30, followed by the live musical performances at 8:30. Tickets are available for purchase.
The Resident Theatre Company’s 2017/2018 season includes performances of “Next to Normal, “A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play,” and “Bullets Over Broadway.” More information about the Resident Theatre Company and the Chester County Art Association is available online.
