It’s the first Thursday of the month — you know what that means! Swing by Swingin’ Summer Thursdays tonight in downtown West Chester and check out the various shops, stands, music, food, jugglers, clowns, and dancers along East and West Gay Streets. Admission is free, though donations are recommended.
Swingin’ Thursdays is produced by the West Chester Parks & Recreation Department and sponsored by the West Chester Business Improvement District (BID).
Why Should You Attend?
Picture yourself. It’s a Thursday evening. You’re so excited for a weekend in West Chester, but you lament that it’s only Thursday. Your friend texts you and tells you about Swingin’ Thursdays. With a brand new step in your shoes, you spend the evening walking up and down Gay Street, enjoying great company, great food, and a great atmosphere.
Thursdays don’t have to be the day standing in between you and Friday. Bring your family and friends downtown from 6:30p.m. to 9p.m.
