During our Look Book photo shoots, we made sure to model the fabulous fashions from Blink Boutique. Our model, Dina, showed up to the first shoot of the week wearing a cute red Misa dress, paired nicely with Splendid tan booties, which is perfect as we approach the end of August and the summer season. Ilisa, owner of Blink boutique, gave me her insight on why she wanted this outfit in particular to be featured.
“The Misa brand is one of our favorite brands. It’s very city boho and had beautiful prints,” she said. “And the booties made it more like fall, but you can wear them year-round.”
Blink Boutique just celebrated their 16-year anniversary this past May. It turns out one of the reasons Ilisa loves West Chester so much is because she’s a West Chester University Golden Ram.
“When I graduated, there weren’t that many stores in town, especially gearing towards the college kid,” she said. “So when Blink opened, I was 24. It has grown with me as I’ve been getting older, but still has a contemporary, young vibe.”
Like a true Golden Ram, Ilisa can’t get enough of the West Chester borough. It has so much to offer her. 
“I just love the community overall, it’s such a nice vibe down here,” Ilisa continued. “It was always a great town, but it just seems to be growing all around us now. It used to be smaller; the restaurants added so much to it.”
