We had so many photo shoots done with the outfits provided by a ton of boutiques for our August Fashion Look Book! Take an inside look at The G. Spot Thrift Boutique!
When you walk into The G. Spot, you’ll notice it’s not your typical thrift boutique shop. That’s because they have a vast, eclectic selection of clothing, jewelry, antiques and more. Whether you want a casual outfit for school or an outfit that will take you back in time, it’s all there!
Our model, Grace, donned a 1960s, with a tan sequin “Free People” dress, a vintage 60s faux amber medallion, hoop earrings, a costume ring, and gold-chain tassel necklaces: the epitome of the 1960s. I stopped into The G. Spot the other day and talked with Gigi.
“I wanted to feature a mixture of new designer wear, which is the ‘Free People’ dress, mixed with vintage because it’s really indicative of what we feature in the store,” Gigi described when talking about Grace’s outfit. “The store is not strictly vintage or consignment or your typical resale shop.”
The G. Spot has been located in West Chester since December 2014. While Gigi had opened up her own boutique in Center City when she was about 18, she had taken a hiatus, eventually moving back to West Chester to be with her family. Since the boutique opened here, Gigi has had a lot of success.
“I appeal to a large demographic because we have anyone from students to older women,” she provided. “I want people to know that I do have quality vintage as well as things for the modern woman.”
The G. Spot Thrift Boutique is located at 152 East Gay Street. For more information, visit them online or call 610.732.8586.
