The holiday season has been saved — we’ve compiled a guide to inspire you to shop locally this December. Featuring your favorite stores, we’re shining a spotlight on the best of what West Chester has to offer. We also highlighted the Delaware Valley Children’s Charity, an organization that brings the holidays to kids in need. Getting in the holiday spirit, yet?
2017 Holiday Shopping Guide
I checked out these shops in town, gathering inspiration for holiday shopping this December.
“Darker blue tones are perfect for winter, but the lighter brown will fit into summer too” — Artistic Eyewear, Dita Statesman 5 frames.
“This bracelet was hand-crafted using pewter, glass, resin, stone, and pearl adornments. It can also be worn as a necklace” — The 5 Senses, Sonia Ferland Hand-Crafted Bracelet.
“This gift includes the jar, eight servings of hot chocolate mix, semi-sweet chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, and instructions” — Gemelli, Hot Cocoa.
Kate Chadwick discovered that the Delaware Valley Children’s Charity has been greeted with a warm reception from those who needed a little help during the holiday season.
“Thank you for reaching out to our families and helping make this such a special time for them. We had a lot of tears as parents saw all of the wonderful gifts for their children. We cannot thank you enough.”
“The generosity demonstrated brings a glow, which lasts all year. It exemplifies the best in people.”:
“If it weren’t for your awesome organization, I don’t think there would have been Santa this year for my children. It’s good to know that there still are people who care in this world! And that is a lesson I will teach my children as they grow.”
“You made this little boy’s wish come true, and if I had a camera, I would have taken a picture so you could see his face when he saw his bike.”
