Get to know the borough’s favorite bartenders who are serving up drinks at this year’s WC Bartenders Ball! We’re going to have a lot of great music, food, dancing, and fun. And all of the proceeds will support our local First Responders. Join us January 28th, from 6pm to 11pm at Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center. And don’t forget to get your tickets! Here are the bartenders from Barnaby’s, Ryan’s Pub, Pietro’s Prime, and Side Bar you should look out for this Sunday night:
Tony is super excited to be back at this year’s Bartenders Ball! Everyone shares a common service industry job, and they’re all off on the same night. He’s also looking forward to seeing all of the Roaring 20’s outfits and suits. The atmosphere is fun, relaxed, exciting, and for a great cause. On his days outside the bar, Tony loves to travel and coach the women’s rugby team at West Chester University. He can make a killer margarita for you!
Valentina loves bartending next to Tony during Wednesday Quizzo nights with DJ Romeo! Watch out for their 2am Meatloaf duet! She’s looking forward to dressing up, seeing a lot of familiar faces, voting, and having a great time. Outside the bar, she loves watching Netflix, hanging out with her family, and dancing! Ask her to make you an Orange Crush.
One of Pietro’s favorite servers also bartends! Mike’s thrilled to be bartending this Sunday and interacting with all of his fellow bartenders and customers. He’s going to be letting loose because he works so hard! Catch him having fun support his local First Responders. When Mike isn’t working, he’s hanging out with his pitbull, Nala, and having drinks with his regulars at Side Bar. He can make any Pietro’s Prime specialty drink for you.
Riley has been attending the Bartenders Ball ever since she was 21 and it’s always one of the best nights of the year. She prides herself in opening Bud Lights and making green tea shots for those college kids. When she’s not working, you might see her downstream canoeing; otherwise, she’s definitely hiking, doing yoga, or reading.
Lesley has worked for most of the Bartenders Balls, including the very first one, and can’t wait for this Sunday. She’s excited to see the new venue at Uptown and work with the same great bartenders this year. Ask her to make you a mean shot of Jameson or her favorite Firestone Easy Jack IPA. In her free time, you might see her chasing around her kids and sneaking in naps whenever she can.
Brandon’s so ready for the 2018 Bartenders Ball, especially this year, since he’s not working his regular Sunday brunch shift before the event. He can’t wait to really enjoy his time working with all of his friends without the prior shift. When he’s not behind the bar, he’s waist-deep in wedding planning — he’s getting married in March! But he still has time to chill with Luna, his black pug. He makes some of the best Thin Mint Martinis around, definitely have him make you one!
All proceeds support our local First Responders. Don’t forget to register for tickets!
