This month, we’ve highlighted some of our borough’s entrepreneurs and multi-generational businesses.
We’ve devoted our entire March issue to be “Family Owned and Operated” because West Chester wouldn’t be the destination town it is today without these family-owned businesses supporting the community over decades. There were so many businesses that we couldn’t highlight every single one, so we decided to profile each candidate based on two criteria — the business needed multiple generations of family working together on a daily basis, or the business had to be passed down through generations of family members.
We found 43 businesses. And while we may have missed some, we feel our homage to these businesses will provide you with necessary information on the businesses themselves and the people who run them.
