StreamGeeks will hold YouTube live “Over the Top” fundraiser to benefit the Crime Victims Center of Chester County.
Starting at 1pm today, the streaming and fundraising company, StreamGeeks will be hosting an “Over the Top” YouTube fundraiser for the Crime Victims Center of Chester County. Also, who can say no to a confetti canon?
This fundraiser will be the first of its kind, and will utilize YouTube Super Chat to allow live viewers to communicate in real-time. And in return for a donation, these live viewers will be able to launch confetti canons, blink lights, turn on bubble machines, and blow up “Star Wars” balloons.
StreamGeeks will also be releasing an “Over the Top” fundraising guide for all interested non-profits.
Earlier in the year, StreamGeeks invited Kathleen Gast from the Crime Victims Center on their live show and raised over $2,000 for the CVC. Now, while using the YouTube Smart Chat feature and the fun, interactive toys, StreamGeeks is thrilled to be hosting this unique and beneficial live show.
“We are so happy to be working with the Chester County Crime Victims Center again,” says Paul Richards, Chief Streaming Officer at the StreamGeeks. “We have already raised over $2,000 for the non-profit organization using live streaming in the past. We hope to provide a guide for other non-profits looking for exciting ways to fundraise.”
The Crime Victims Center of Chester County has been a staple of downtown West Chester since 1973. Since their doors opened, they have helped and supported thousands of victims throughout the county, and works with victims of all types of violence, from sexual to domestic violence.
