Jordan – Phineas Gage
From our May “Summer Style” issue.
Don’t get High Street’s Phineas Gage confused with history’s medical marvel, Phineas Gage — 19th century American railroad construction worker who survived having his head impaled by an iron rod in a construction accident. Inside Phineas Gage is a very classy combination of light and dark wood and brick. With a large window filtering in sunlight, the clothes are illuminated. The store looks bright and welcoming. And remember to give Jamie’s French Bulldog Zoey some love.
Our model Jordan Patterson looks suave with his get-up. He wore Sunski polarized tortoise madronas frames. His Faherty coast shirt was 100% cotton and made from indigo-dyed fabric with an allover batik print. His Rodd & Gunn Port Albert ocean blue belt has an elastic webbing construction, an antique brass buckle, and a leather trim. Jordan’s canvas shorts from Grayers Clothiers are nearly 100% cotton, (2% spandex), and include on-seam front pockets with a besom coin pocket. Lastly, his Seavees slip-on shoes are made of top-quality perforated suede with a contrast backstay. These perforations also keep his feet cool as he walks.
It’s a casual look, but all the pieces make him seem put-together. And with 100% UV protection in his sunglasses, Jordan can be outside the entire day and still look good.
