From our May “Summer Style” issue.
You’ll find Tish Boutique on East Gay Street, the light-green sign hanging above a white building that looks like a stylish home. Racks of colorful clothes from upscale frame the vintage wood and exposed-brick interior. You can see the fireplace in the corner near the rack of designer shoes.
To keep cool this summer, our model Abbi Hart wore an ivory jumpsuit by Free People. Her hair, styled by Avanté’s Bella Page, was pinned up, save for some deliberately loose strands framing the left side of her face. White flowers were interwoven in her hair-do to emphasize the white color of her jumpsuit.
As a way to accent the color further, Abbi wore a white and gray beaded necklace by Powerbeads by jen, which are often sold at Tish Boutique. After Jen, the creator of Powerbeads, was in a traumatic bike accident years ago, her friend gave her a Blessed Mary medal to wear as a safeguard. Jen put the medal on gemstone beads, and since then has created her own line of Powerbeads to promote positive energy, well-being, and serenity. The beaded chain around Abbi’s neck looks elegant with her jumpsuit and is handcrafted and exclusively found in West Chester.
But there’s a lot of white going on in her outfit, so Abbi is wearing yellow Rosie Ruffle Heels by Free People for a splash of color against her outfit’s white backdrop, drawing attention to her shoes.
