At Gawthrop Greenwood’s Alex’s Lemonade Stand on Friday, they saw a surprise visitor — Jeff Zajac from the Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce!
When it gets hot, hardly anything tastes better than freshly squeezed lemonade from Alex’s Lemonade Stand. Associates and employees at West Chester law firm Gawthrop Greenwood, PC all got together to sell the lemonade that has been raising money to help fight childhood cancer for 13 years. Every year, Gawthrop Greenwood opens an Alex’s Lemonade Stand for this cause with the support of the Chester County Bar Association.
As Gawthrop’s employees were running Alex’s Lemonade Stand, they noticed a man tricycling up to the stand to buy a cup of lemonade for the cause. Jeff Zajac from the Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce rode by to get Gawthrop and West Chester residents excited for the upcoming Benchmark Twilight Cycling Classic.
This event, published in our June Summer Fun Guide, is happening on August 11th this year and is one of downtown West Chester’s largest and most thrilling events. Cheer for the professionals in the Iron Hill Pro Men’s Criterium and the Brumbaugh Wealth Management Pro Women’s Criterium as they zip through the streets at speeds topping 40 miles an hour. Gawthrop Greenwood will be among the businesses hosting visitors during the Benchmark Twilight Cycling Classic. Its West Chester office overlooks the finish line.
Though Jeff was only going one mile an hour, he was geared up for both the Twilight Race and the Alex’s Lemonade Stand that Gawthrop Greenwood was running.
