If you’re stuck on what to do this summer in West Chester, we may have found a few — or 141 — activities and events to attend in the borough. So, live it up at parties, send your kids to those summer camps, and chill out at the pool because there is no shortage of family-fun recreation this season!
One-Time Events
We’ve outlined a list of events you can only participate in once this summer, so keep this guide on hand to make sure you’re up-to-date. For example, today, June 1st, is Malena Boutique’s 15th Anniversary & Sustainable Showroom Sale. She will be selling specially selected vintage apparel, raffling off gift cards, and celebrating being an environmentally sustainable business. Malena’s Boutique customers over 52 million gallons of water and 35 tons of waste from landfills, and they want to celebrate this achievement.

Recurring Events
You can attend and participate in these events on more than one date. Levante’s Elevate Your Craft 5K Series, for example, is on June 14th, July 12th, and August 23rd at 7pm. Or maybe you just wanna be one step ahead of Uptown’s Classic Movie Monday, which runs through the summer starting June 4th. So, don’t despair if you miss one event — there will be a few chances for you to catch up on these activities.
Ongoing Events
These events have no specific date, so you can attend them at your own leisure. TreeHouse World, for example, is adventurous, outdoorsy experience that includes zip-lining, a Gaga Ball Pit, and of course, exploring their numerous tree houses. Or, you can try out all three of West Chester’s escape rooms after you tour QVC Studios. The choice is yours!
Summer Camps
Does your kid love dancing? How about playing with dolls? Or skateboarding? There are many camps to choose from this summer depending on your child’s interests. Put them with their friends and allow them to have a fun, creative summer day when you’re at work.
