Run, don’t walk to the first race in the West Chester Summer XC Series tonight at 6:45pm.
Sponsored by the Chester County Running Store, the West Chester Summer XC Series is a collection of races for adults and kids over the course of the summer. The first race series begins tonight, Thursday, June 28th at 6:45pm at Oakbourne Park, located at 1014 South Concord Road. Additional races will be held on July 5th, July 25th, and August 15th.
June 28th’s Schedule:
- 6:45pm — Kid’s 300m
- 6:50pm — Kid’s 1K
- 7:00pm — 5K Race
- 7:45pm — Awards
Registration prices vary — the Kid’s 300m is $5 per person, and the Kid’s 1K is $10. The entire series of Kid’s 1K Races is $25. For adults, tonight’s race costs $15 per person, and $50 if you register for the complete summer series.
The West Chester Summer XC Series affords runners of differing abilities and ages to join their friends, family, and community members for a relaxing, summer run.
