Kick off Independence Day celebrations with a decorated bike parade in West Goshen!
From our June Summer Fun Guide.
Come out to West Goshen Community Park for their annual Decorated Bike Parade at 10am. Bring your bikes, trikes, training wheels, big wheels, strollers, wagons, and wheelchairs decked out in their patriotic finest for a parade through the park. Prizes will be awarded to the most creatively decorated bike. All participants will receive medals.
Specifically, the patriotic theme for the 4th of July is “The Signers: A Tribute to American Ideals.” For your safety, you can email twp@westgoshen.org with your name, address, and number of children attending. While it’s encouraged to attach papier-mâché decorations for the “rockets red glare,” it’s discouraged to attach nitro-charged rockets to your child’s vehicle.
This event is free, but remember to wear your helmets! Rain date is July 7th at 10am.
The West Goshen Community Park is located at 1023 Fern Hill Road. Call 610.696.5266 for any questions, concerns, or more information.
