Tonight, enjoy spending time as a community celebrating Independence Day!
From our June Summer Fun Guide.
Tonight, July 2nd from 6pm to 8pm, bring your friends and family to East Bradford Park. You’re going to celebrate Independence Day in style as a community for free! The Lukens Band will get you in the spirit of the holiday — along with free burgers, hot dogs, and beverages. And of course, American flags! Bring along pet foot or a pet supply item to donate to the Chester County Pet Food Pantry — an organization that helps those in need who would no be able to keep their pet without assistance.
About The Lukens Band:
Based in Coastesville, PA, The Lukens Band is a community band that is supported by The Huston Foundation and The Stewart Huston Charitable Trust. The band has 4 different units: a Concert Band, a German Band, a Small Ensemble and a Brass Ensemble that perform throughout southeastern Pennsylvania. The Lukens Band was originally formed in 1911.
East Bradford Park is located at 835 Kenmara Drive in West Chester. For more information about this event or others this summer, check out East Bradford’s Parks and Recreation online or our Summer Fun Guide.
