West Chester Public Library has two very important events coming up.
West Chester Public Library’s upcoming fall book sale begins on October 25th through the 27th, starting at 9:30am to 5pm. Books of non-fiction, fiction, and children’s books will be up for sale. The proceeds will go back into the operations and projects of the library.
The second event, is the 8th annual Holiday Home Tour. This will be held on Saturday December first (snow date, December second) from 10am to 3pm.
For the first time, there are two different tour options to choose from: The Standard Tour and The VIP Tour. The Standard Tour will show the inside of nine homes, the West Chester Art Association, and the Antique Ice Tool Museum. The VIP Tour will include everything in the Standard Tour, plus a tour of two floors of the winner of a West Chester Preservation Award, and a small box of Éclat chocolate.
The houses in the Holiday Home Tour were built in the 19th and 20th centuries. You will have the chance to see the historical architectural features mixed with the homeowners artwork and furnishings.
At the end of the day complimentary holiday refreshments will be available back at West Chester Public Library. An exhibit of book art by Kathy Holden will be present as well. Tickets are available online, or can be purchased at the library.
