Veteran’s Wedding Giveaway winners, Emily Beers and Tyler Thiel continue to plan their big day on November 11th.
This contest was sponsored by the West Chester’s American Helicopter Museum and Education Center (AHMEC) among with John Serock catering. In order to enter, at least one partner had to be serving or has served for the United States forces. The winners were granted a free, five hour ceremony and reception at the museum. They were also allowed to invite 100 guests to attend. Contributions towards the giveaway, were Matlack Florist, Schaffer Sound, Blue Dog Printing and Design, Master’s Baker, Sagets Formal Wear, Locust Lane Brewery, Choice Party Linens, Baiada Photography, and Chadds Ford Winery.
Winners of the contest were Emily Beers and Tyler Thiel. Beers, a United States Army veteran, served eight years of service. During this time she traveled to Iraq for a tour of duty. She has received honors of Army of Commendation Medals, Army Good Conduct Medals, and Army Achievement Medals. Thiel and Beers both have active serving members and veterans among both of their families.

We also appreciate our sponsor John Serock Catering, and all of the vendors who are generously contributing to make this exciting, beautiful day truly special for Emily and Tyler,” says AHMECS Executive Director.
“I am happy to say that the bridesmaids in my wedding who are active duty are all able to make it to the actual day. Right now, the last minute touches are to finalize the guest list, type up introductions, time the big day and have the rehearsal dinner,” Beers said.
