Interested in jump-starting your modeling career and winning a Mexican vacation? The first annual Miss Kildare’s Contest, starting THIS THURSDAY, May 10, might be just the chance you’re looking for. The winner will be the national face of Kildare’s for the coming year, showing up in promotional materials, posters and billboards, and will even win a trip to Cancun. This will be a great portfolio builder for the winner and they will be seen in the following Kildare’s Locations:
West Chester, PA
Manayunk, PA
Scranton, PA
Newark, DE
Chapel Hill, NC
State College, PA
Columbus, OH
You can register in advance by simply emailing your name and age plus a photo of yourself to misskildareswc@kildarespub.com. Participants are welcome to enter on the night of the event, but early registrants will win gift cards and other Kildare’s prizes just for entering.
The first round of competition kicks off on Thursday, May 10. Entrants will participate in an individual photo shoot in front of a live audience at Kildare’s starting at 9pm. This will be followed by a round of trivia hosted by Tom Boyd a.k.a. “Boyder” including questions about Kildare’s, West Chester and all things Irish. Finalists from the first round will be chosen solely based on crowd noise and participation, so make sure to bring out all your friends if you want to advance to the next round. Music will be supplied by DJ Romeo of Schaffer Sound Productions both nights of competition in West Chester.
Winners of the first round will be back at Kildare’s West Chester the following Thursday, May 17, for a kilt competition and the talent portion. But, don’t take the talent part too seriously – anything fun and entertaining that gets the crowd involved is exactly what we’re looking for. If you’re lucky enough to be chosen as the overall West Chester winner by our panel of judges, you’ll move on to the national finals held at Kildare’s Manayunk on Thursday, May 24.
